This mapping process made me realize that spatial DH projects require patience and parsimony. They visually display the connections and differences between historical maps and contemporary maps, which allows us to discern spatial changes and developments over time. The exercise is very interactive and let me think about the degree of precision and accuracy required to produce a credible spatial DH project.
