Georefercing with David Ramsey Georeferencer

While aesthetically pleasing, I found the UI not to lend intuition. While there was a pop-up guide, it didn’t actually show me how to do the steps, but rather said to do this and then do that, etc. I was puzzled for quite a while, until my haphazard clicking ultimately made a point appear on my screen. I assumed this was one of the so called “control points,” and so I clicked a location on one map, and then clicked the identical location on the other. This, I believe, worked.

In the end, though, I still had no indication that it worked. I didn’t know how accurate I was. I’ll let who ever is reading this judge for themselves.

It seems like a very powerful tool in theory, but a for a tool be be practical in practice, it needs to be either intuitive or have accessible documentation; I felt this had neither.
