Mapping Squirrels

I found the census data of squirrels in New York’s Central Park to rather interesting. After plotting the data on ArcGIS, I tried to see if I could find densities within the park, groups or locations that harbored specific squirrels or specific squirrel characteristics. I decided to stick with squirrel fur colors, as I found this to be the most easily distinguishable physical trait. After layering the map with squirrel data, I tried some new layers to gain insight. I utilized the tree coverage layer, as I sought to seek some correlation between squirrel fur color with how much shade they were getting or where they were spotted in Central Park.

Anyway here is my map. Embedding this from ArcGis was a little difficult but the link should work.
