Making my website was frustrating. I had a hard time logging in and then a hard time with the css. I just got frustrated with it quickly. I don’t know if it’s because I was in a particularly bad mood when I decided to start working on it or if it’s a problem with the interface. A lot of it just didn’t come to me intuitively and I can’t say I’m a fan of not having stuff come to me intuitively. Like I said, it’s frustrating. It took me a good 3 hours of fiddling to get it to the point of being acceptable.
Despite my frustration, I do want to continue to work on and add more to my site. As an artist, having a site is important because it helps you show you work, give more information to interested parties, and makes you look professional and put together. Social media is important too, but it’s more like the net to reel clients into your site.
