This is a map that shows squirrel populations in Central Park and childcare spending because clearly there’s a relationship between the two. Everyone knows only the rich squirrels can afford to live in Central Park.
Making the map was pretty easy with the tutorial. I think the hardest part was choosing colors and themes and such. I chose not to use the squirrel icons because I wanted to include the secondary colors as well as the primary colors.
I can see how these kinds of maps would be useful for many things besides squirrel populations. I know one of my friends had to use it for her Geo comps.

Haha, I as well picked certain attributes that had no correlation with each other. I also found the software surprisingly useful for its data visualization potential despite working with something as arbitrary as squirrels and their fur color.
