The Emerging Argument

Our group has made some changes from our original plan. In the time that’s passed since our first blog post, we have visited the archives and began crafting our argument. We noticed that the building plans had some interesting differences between areas in campus designated for males and the areas designated for females.

In addition to collecting data from the online and physical archives, my personal work on the project is finding the best tools and methods to display our data. We have decided to make maps our only focus, as 3D models of the buildings are not effective or relevant in supporting our argument. You can read more about what we have decided to do on our group blogpost here.

  1. I’m a little sad to learn that the 3d modeling you had planned isn’t working out, but after reading your group’s post it makes more sense as to why you’d choose that. It’s been really cool to see the project develop over time from something more broad to a more narrow topic like architecture resources as related to gender.
