Members: Emmanuel and myself.
Topic and Objective: The project itself should be about Carleton’s history as a college and Emmanuel and I thought that sports are apart of its history as a college as well. We decided to do our project on the history of the football team. Emmanuel said that our football team was once really good and now in its present state our football team is at the lowest place in our division. We are most likely going to see what may have caused this downfall whether it may have been related to our college or any events that may have happened globally or in our own country.
Methodology: We will see at what years our college football team was at its best and when a decline was noticeable. We will also look at the roster and see how many incoming freshman came in every year and if there was an increase in the beginning and a decrease as the years went on. I think that looking at Carleton’s roster list will be very helpful and hopefully the Carleton website has this information but if not we will look elsewhere to find that information. I think that excel will be a useful way for us to store our information and data. I think that putting our information into a timeline will be helpful to prove a point and to help our DH project along the way. Using timelinejs will be very beneficial for us as well.
