My fail at recreating my old house!

The process of thinking of how I wanted to recreate my childhood house was indeed a difficult one because of how weird my house was structured. I tried my best to recreate the front as best as I could. The hardest part is being very detailed. I am still figuring out how to be more detailed in my buildings and will continue to learn more and more about being more precise in the process of recreating buildings and other things as well. I would say that the hardest parts were trying to be detailed in my building as you can see it really isn’t good at all, but also another hard part was trying to get the lines in between the windows to be straight was hard for me. I also think that creating the roofs are hard as well. One piece of information that I learned that was useful and helped my home to be not so crappy was the painting of the roofs and sidings and there are colors that look just like the sidings of houses and the sidings of roofs. I was able to recreate my old house just a little bit because of these coloring patterns.

  1. Don’t be so hard on yourself! You made a recognizable structure with very little experience or instruction by sticking with it and seem to have learned from your struggles and near failures, which is the key takeaway.
