HTML/CSS Tutorials

CSS

The CSS tutorial that I looked at was the beginners tutorial and I felt like I got a handle on how to do beginners coding by reading through that tutorial. What was most interesting to me was the ability to put boxes and all sorts of shapes around the headers. I was surprised how simple yet complicated it is to just put a box or some sort of shape around headers in a webpage. The world of coding and the things coding can do just blows my mind, but it is also hard for me to wrap my head around it as well!

HTML

The HTML tutorial was similar to the CSS tutorial in that it was also the beginners one. I found the images section of the tutorial to be interesting because of how it explained that the most common picture tags are usually, JPEGs, GIFs, or PNGs. I found out just like you do with links you can also tell the coding program where to find a certain picture online, but the more easier way probably would to be just save your exact photo that you want and then put it into the coding system and it will automatically put the code in necessary for that picture. You can also edit the size of your picture to whatever you want it to be and I found that interesting as well.
