I rarely go out to explore the area, and when I do, it&#8217;s strictly for business, such as getting a haircut or going shopping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first building in my target chunk of Northfield is located at the intersection of Division St S and 5th St E. Reunion is a popular restaurant situated inside a restored building, offering a nice contrast between modern and old architectural styles. In a way, I felt like it was a reunion between me and the restaurant: I had only eaten here once a few years prior, and after that, I barely paid it any mind each time I walked across the building. Looking at the place&#8217;s modest cover, I had to admit that I had no recollection of ever seeing this place, or even knowing what a Coworking company was. It turns out to be a flexible, open office space where independent workers, remote workers, and similar individuals can rent a space to work with full amenities and support, including printers and meeting rooms. I was very surprised to see a cozy 2-story house here. I wonder if something special happened here after it was scanned for Maps. Anyhow, to the left side of the road&#8217;s entrance was another shop I had never seen before &#8211; though this time it&#8217;s less likely to be from a lack of attention, and more that Mercado Local, the Hispanic market and art center, was quite out of the normal foot traffic around the area. I quite liked the skull designs on the hanging banner, but I had to move on to see the rest of the area. I have attended a few events hosted here, and it&#8217;s a lot bigger than I initially expected. Moving on, I normally paid attention to the building due to having been to it before, so it was an even bigger shock that right by the intersection with 6th St E, there was a sculpture monument of a tree with heart leaves, titled Spreading Love. Once again, a totally new detail that I had never seen before, despite walking across the place a few times already. Right after it, though, was a completely unexpected sight: Pete&#8217;s Chiropractic. A quick look around showed that Dr. Peter set this up at the back of his house, and speaking of his house, he had the most vibrant and beautiful garden I&#8217;ve ever seen. I would probably have never known that this charming corner existed if not for this material-gathering trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped href=\"https:\/\/cannonvalleyfriendsorg.wordpress.com\/\">Cannon Valley Friends Meeting<\/a>, where the Religious Society of Friends, also known as Quakers, gather every Sunday at 10:30 for silent worship. Indeed, on a closer look, there was a visible dent crumpled inward, though I couldn&#8217;t think of any possible way for that to appear there, other than a crane driver accidentally forwarded a bit too much as they were installing the &#8216;G&#8217;.
