In collaboration with the Rice County Historical Society, this project centered around creating a photogrammetric model of the Alexander Faribault House using Agisoft Metashape Pro software and presenting it through Sketchfab services. A detailed three-dimensional digital reconstruction of the house contributes to the long-term goals of establishing effective and accessible forms of historical preservation with more advanced techniques, opening a door to virtual viewings and recognition. Through our model of the Alexander Faribault House, we are creating a means of preservation that\u2019s beyond the physical house structure that stands in Faribault. With higher moisture content\u2013as a result of climate change\u2013looming as a possible threat to historical wooden structures, digitizations in these forms protect historical structures as snapshots of time that can be archived, shared, and widely accessed.
