Hello everyone! I will be one of the page authors this term. I am a geology major and history minor in my junior year at Carleton. Outside of my studies, I am an avid reader, backpacker, cross country skier, and tree-enthusiast. In this class, history 338, I am particularly interested in exploring how we as humans interact with and assign significance to place. In addition, I look forward to seeing the intersections between mapping in a geological sense and the deep mapping that this class primarily explores.
